Animals: Fictional or Real

The 2008 Millersville Community Parade will celebrate all kinds of animals! Participants can keep spectators close to home by showcasing local farm animals or favorite pets. Other participants may choose to bring the audience up-close and personal with animals from the African safari, the tropical rainforests of South America or other exciting locations around the world. Some entries might decide to get prehistoric and represent the age of dinosaurs. To top it all off, participants can even choose to portray animated celebrities like Bugs Bunny, Kipper the Dog or Winnie the Pooh!

March along with your four-legged friends! Decorate a float like Jellystone Park! Showcase music from Cats or The Lion King! Wear a red cape and fight crime like Underdog! With so many possibilities, this year's parade promises to be a lively depiction of the animal kingdom that all ages will enjoy.

So dust off your teddy bear costumes, get a new leash for Rover, and help make this year's Millersville Parade a memorable celebration of animals - fictional or real!
